A stunning locket brooch which was inspired by the large granite rock formations  found on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.  The brooch is made from oxidised sterling silver.  The white 'stone' is vitreous enamel and is set with 9ct solid gold claws.  The gemstones are labradorite, citrine, garnet and a vibrant blue opal is set at the bottom.  Turn the  brooch over to find a secret  locket door which is a highly polished sterling silver, providing a striking contrast to the oxidsed black.  Open this door to reveal a flash of gold leaf and a secret space to hide precious things in.

The brooch hangs like a medal and measures from top to bottom 70mm, its width from the furthest points are approx 40mm.
